CHEFETTE GIVES GENEROUSLY TO THE BARBADOS RED CROSS SOCIETY

The Barbados Red Cross Society has once again received a substantial gift of food items from Chefette Restaurants. Since 1975 Chefette, the largest Restaurant chain in Barbados, has been supporting the Red Cross Meals on Wheels Programme, with monthly donations of beef and potatoes.

Recently at a presentation made at its corporate office, Chefette’s Advertising Manager, Lisa Carter presented Edmond Bradshaw, Director General of the Society with vouchers for a year’s supply of beef and potatoes to assist with the programme. On receiving the donation, Mr. Bradshaw said "The Barbados Red Cross Meals On Wheels programme continues to be blessed for another full year, 2016, through the generous donation of potatoes and beef from the very popular Chefette Restaurants. This ongoing support which has been in place for many decades, has contributed significantly in maintaining the well-being of those most needy persons across Barbados who benefit from warm meals delivered to them by the Red Cross all year round.

The Barbados Red Cross is delighted to be associated with this very community minded company, Chefette Restaurants, and praises its support to the disabled, shut-ins and the poor. We also thank the many persons whose patronage of Chefette Restaurants assists Chefette in being so generous to those most in need by the assistance rendered through the Barbados Red Cross Meals On Wheels programme."

Chefette’s Advertising Manager Lisa Carter said “Chefette being a good community oriented company is committed to supporting this Charity with its efforts in providing meals for the less fortunate. The Red Cross can rest assured that Our Company will continue to be a major contributor of food supplies for years to come”.
