The Barbados Red Cross Society is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Programme Officer to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of national and IFRC-supported programmes.

This role is ideal for a development or humanitarian professional who is passionate about community-focused work and thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Programme Coordinator, Director General, and IFRC counterparts, the Programme Officer will play a key role in ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with IFRC standards and frameworks.

Key responsibilities include project coordination, financial tracking, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to disaster preparedness, anticipatory action, and long-term community resilience initiatives across Barbados.
