Barbados Red Cross New Home
May 2009 – The Red Cross Society of Barbados have awarded Innotech Services Limited the contract for the construction of their new Headquarters in Warrens, St. Michael.This new two-storey structure covers approximately 9500 sq. ft. and will replace their old facility at Jemmotts Lane which was destroyed by fire in 1999.
Innotech Services Limited is honoured to be working with such a humanitarian organisation and will ensure that this project is built to the same quality standards for which the company has become renowned. During an official Ground Breaking Ceremony members of Red Cross and Innotech were in attendance for the official ground breaking by late Prime Minister of Barbados - The Rt. Hon. David Thompson.
June 2010 – Innotech Services Limited announces the completion of the new Headquarters for The Red Cross Society of Barbados located in Warrens, St. Michael. It replaces its old facility on the former hospital compound which was gutted by fire in 1999.
The completion of this new building marks a new era of expanded services and programmes for the Red Cross Society and will facilitate both regional and international work. The Headquarters will now be able to facilitate the operation of its numerous divisions such as CPR Training, disaster programmes and the Meals on Wheels, which presently feeds approximately one hundred people each day. The complex has been constructed to incorporated space for disaster storage, a medical and ambulance bay and training rooms. It has several modern features such as roller shutters, suspended acoustic ceilings and a chair lift.
Innotech Services Limited is privileged to have collaborated with the clients’ architects - SRM Architects Limited, on this project and to have assisted the dedicated advocates at Red Cross Society of Barbados who are deeply committed to providing humanitarian assistance and supporting vulnerable people and communities.
